Authority is Competence!

If I am one of the best people in an certain field, like for example if I am a doctor that is really good at doing a certain type of surgery. Other doctors and patience are going to naturally be very interested in what I have to say and what I am doing because they want to replicate my results and benefits from the services I have to offer.

So competence makes you naturally the leader in that field, the problem with competence is that because there are other people competing with you there is always the chance of someone else doing what you do better than you. Which is going to change the leader, people are always going to gravitate towards the person that have to offer them the most.

This dynamic is win/win because like this you keep the incentive for progress, and for people to help each other rather than hurt each other. If I want more resources and friends what I have to do is increase my competence at doing my job.

Leadership is not a fix position is it actually a very dynamic process when is let naturally and unregulated. This very own fact about leadership is anxiety provoking, knowing that at any point someone else that is slightly better than you could come out of nowhere and take your position.

Because of the anxiety there are people willing to cheat, instead of trying to be as competent as it is humanly possible, they look for ways to sabotage the competition and stunt their growth. One of this form of sabotage is called bureaucracy. Which is a way of creating arbitrary rules, independent from the natural rules of nature. One of the things you can do with bureaucracy is to create negative consequences for innocent actions, in other words it gives you the authority to punish other people for doing something that is neither bad for you or anybody else but is threatening their leadership position.

 The perception most people have about the authorities is one of fear, because they know that this people are not going to hesitate to hurt them if they are disobeying. So unfortunately authority becomes a synonymous for thirany.

Where most people pay their taxes not because they are satisfied with the services that they received in the exchange for they money but they do so because they are afraid of it can happen to them if they don't.

In the world we live authority is really terrorism, not competence, we accepted the most aggressive group of people to lead us instead of choosing competence.

A huge part of our seemingly irrational decisions is first of all the lack of wisdom majority of us suffer, it is in our failure to fully understand what things are that prevent us from taking better decisions.

Yet the biggest barrier from becoming truly liberated and the main tool that the enslavers use is fear. It is not a direct confrontation with the oppressors that is going to liberate, they are far to strong for us to be able to win a direct confrontation. This is an internal battle with your own fears and dedications to find out the truth.
